Zigbee button suddenly controlling Zigbee light with no rules setup

Hi,

It took a week for me to make the association that our Kitchen Undercabinet light strip (a generic Zigbee 24v dimmer showing as TS0501B / _TZ3210_agjx0pxt) was going on and off when the Sylvania/Lightify 73743 Zigbee Button Dimmer in our bedroom was being used.

Our setup has been working fine for months, but we had a power outage a couple weeks ago. After we regained power I noticed our scenes with zwave devices were running extremely slow. So I decided to do a proper hubitat shutdown in the menu, then unplugged and turned it back on. That seemed to fix my slow scene issue.

But I think that's around when my Zigbee button in the bedroom started directly controlling the kitchen undercabinet lights. There are no rules or automation set up to do this. The Zigbee button is supposed to control the Zigbee bulbs (setup as a group) in the bedroom only. No changes were made with rules or devices, so I think the issue started because of the power outage or reboot.

The logs show that the light strip controller is being physically turned on and off when the Zigbee button is pushed.

Another shutdown didn't help. Any ideas of what else I can try before removing the devices and resetting them?

You can try a factory reset on the button controller, then rejoin it.
For whatever reason the button controller seems to have reverted to broadcasting its commands, to which the strip is responding directly.

Yep that worked. I was hoping there was a simple setting change I could've done instead, but I guess resetting it isn't too bad either.
