I have a zigbee light which is part of a group. The light turns on and off fine and when I switch it at the device level it updates the group and the dashboard no issues.
When I switch it at the group level the light gets skipped. The other two turn on and off.
I have turned off group zigbee messages. Is there anything else I should do?
Try disabling the “Enable on/off optimization” feature of the group. This will make sure devices are sent on or off commands even if the hub believes they are already in the correct state.
Question: What type of Zigbee bulbs are these? What other Zigbee devices do you have on your Zigbee mesh network?
They are all three old Iris zigbee switches in the same room as the hub. They are the only zigbee devices I have (everything else was zwave - moving to zwave+, or else wemo/LIFX).
