I have four recently installed (last couple of months) Zooz ZEN75 800 heavy duty switches.
Each of them is controlling an incandescent or led bulb (all less than 100 watts).
Last week one of them became unresponsive to physical activity. (I didn’t check if it responded to HE commands.) LED was on.
So I was removing it (live, as I have a death wish) and as I was disconnecting the hot lead (first, of course), the connected light came on. (I suspect that I momentarily disconnected and reconnected it in the process of removing the wire nut.)
Lo and behold it works now, physically and digitally!
Wrote it off as a fluke and reassembled everything.
Then last night a second switch froze the same way. I confirmed that it DID respond to HE on/off commands, but NOTHING physically.
Tried all the multiple press things and nada. Also tried to change the LED using the driver to set parameters and also no response.
So, out to the garage I went to the breaker panel where I toggled the breaker controlling the switch.
That solved the lockup.
Any thoughts? If it happens again I will let Zooz (@agnes.zooz ) know.
