Zen34 use

Can use a Zen 34 to control a light that's on motion switch? I'm thinking as button controller or by pass for the motion sensor when I'm working in the garage to keep the light on. If so,
How would I set that up?

Which motion switch are you using?

I do something similar with a GE motion switch using @JasonJoel’s driver that provides separate switch and sensor child devices:

Though in my case, I have multiple motion sensors throughout my shop that keep the lights on using @bertabcd1234’s Lights on Motion Plus app.

I've written an app for my own use and figured I'd share it. I originally wrote it for a certain other platform, then another platform (see? not the one you're thinking of), and finally re-wrote it for Hubitat and fixed some longstanding bugs I tolerated. I figured I'd share it with the community in case anyone has any use for it. At its core, it's similar to most motion-based lighting apps, but none of them could do a couple things I wanted. If you prefer to do this with a Zen34 button device, you could setup a rule in Rule Machine to automatically turn on and off with motion or press of the button, but that extends (or removes) the off timeout when the up paddle is pressed, and have it revert when the down paddle is pressed.

Let us know if you need assistance with that. Go ahead and post a screenshot of your rule if you are start one but are having issues with it.
