I've had this Zen34 switch for some time. It recenly startding doing this......any clue what is going on and why???? I am using the "Zooz remote switch zen34" driver that is integrated to HE.
Wild guess, but are you running Firmware: 1.02 or older? 1.3 and 1.4 have fixes for this. If the firmware is higher then 1.40 then you might want to open a support case with zooz
It is running 1.3. But it seems like the 1.4 may also be needed.
I'll give that a shot. I've never done an OTA firmware with a battery powered device....I'll have to do a little research on that one.
7 Taps up to wake the device.
Wow....that was a tricky one to get to update. The 7 taps wasn't working. I had to unpair and repair with no S2....and then even still it took about 50 tries for the handshake timing to actually work.
Updated to 1.4 now. Hopfully (it should) this fixes the issue.
