I have several ZEN32s in my home. I have found there is a design defect in the large on/off switch paddle. If you press the paddle off center such the paddle twists as it is depressed it can become stuck. Compounding this is the ZEN32 firmware seems to be bothered by a constant pressing of the switch. I guess it gets locked into "held" state.
I was of the belief this has been improved with the newer versions of the switch but the replacement keypads Zooz sent me had the same problem as the original ones.
I was able to create a fix for this if you want to modify your ZEN32s. Basically the large switch paddle is too wide for the tiny spring meant to return it back after a release. So I cannibalized a spare keypad and took two of the springs and added them above and below the existing spring. Since I didn't have a boss to align and retain the spring I just super glued the spring to the backside of the keypad. Now there are three springs to return the keypad and specifically up and down from center where the binding seemed most acute. With the three springs the paddle has never gotten stuck.
I have video of the before and after but I can't upload those here so you'll have to trust me.
