I recently added a Zen22 3.0 Dimmer to control the recessed LEDs in our kitchen. One of the things I wanted to play with on this switch was the scene control functionality. I'd like for the switch to continue to register single press up & down as "on-to-last-setting" & "off" while using Button Controllers to take different actions for double-tapping up or down. I'm aware that triple-taps and beyond are not support by Hubitat. I have wondered if there is ability or plans to change this in the future?
In any case. I'm running into a problem. Although the switch is setup as a "Zooz Central Scene Dimmer" on the device page, watching the logs does not show single or double presses. I only see "switch is on" or "switch is off". Currently a double press, either up or down, will set the lights to 99% and report again that "switch is on".
My sense is that I need to change a parameter on the switch to send the button presses to Hubitat instead of just reporting changes in state. My hope is that I can arrange this while still preserving the switches ability to take action on single-presses without the hub. One thing I like about hardwired switches instead of smart bulbs is that they continue to work even if the hub goes haywire or becomes unresponsive.
Screenshots attached showing configuration and logs. Also a screenshot showing what happens in the logs if I send a "double tap" from the device page (I have placeholder button controllers setup for double tap events so I can see that they are taking actions).
