Well nevermind, I finally figured it out. Had to use the "Type" drop-down (under Device Information) and pick "Generic Z-wave Shade". Then some new command buttons showed up which allow the expected functionality. I had looked through that long list of types before hunting for something reasonable but missed that particular one.
On to more integration now....
