Zcombo test

How to truly test that first alert combo smoke/fire signal gets through to the monitor company

I use Noonlight to monitor and they have proven to be very responsive. I’ve read that pushing the test button does not notify Noonlight and my bigger concern is how to test to see if CO presence gets reported to Noonlight differently from smoke presence. Not just that a RM test button has been pushed.

How have you set this up?

Like @aaiyar said, please describe in more detail how your monitored alarm system is setup.

The Zcombo is a z-wave device that pairs with Hubitat. Hubitat does not have a monitored fire or burglary alarm service.

But it is possible to integrate Hubitat with some centrally monitored alarm services (there are several ways, actually).

Without more details, we can’t answer your question though.

I have a few of these and they work fine using the Noonlight monitoring service,

Don't you typically phone the alarm company, and say "I am going to be doing testing, ignore things for the next couple hours" or something similar.

Then just push the test button on the smoke alarms and see what happens? The alarm company probably even can verify that the alarm signal went through if you call them.
