Hello everyone. I am looking for a zwave or zigbee - IR thermostat to control Minisplits (ductless). I have seen Remotec and Broadlink recommendations in the forum but none have a screen or direct control. There are products like CieloBreeze-Flair and others but they do not have integration with HE. Any recommendations?

One option would be to build a dashboard that could be used on mobile devices or on a tablet mounted on a wall. This would make for a versatile front end with something like a Broadlink in the back end to provide control via IR.

Most mini split systems have a dry contact adapter available to purchase so you can use a any thermostat. In the case of my LG systems I have a ct101 in one room and a go control in the other. (one per duct). The other option is to use remotec zxt-600 z-wave to ir converter which also works well.
I live in Panama, and the majority of houses use Mini-Split air conditioners that work with infrared (IR) technology. The most popular brands are Panasonic, LG, Samsung, and Daikin. Less popular brands share similar IR codes as the popular brands

I have 4 units. Panasonic, LG, Samsung. The last one is a unknown brand (Flouu) but I was able to control it via CieloBreeze on ST

Thank you. Looks like the way to go... For the Panasonic unit does it work only with HVAC Adaptor for Multi Split Indoor Unit or also need to include CooLinkHub
I may have posted the wrong one. You can always call Panasonic for the right model number
