Z-Wave Switch Not Responding

All the sudden my master fan switch is not responding to any rules or manual commands with the software. Any idea why?
In the log you can see it going on and off but the fan is not responding.

How about something stupid like the chain was pulled on the fan?

Is control of the fan working physically at the switch?
What make/model of switch are you using?

Physically at the switch works just fine. I can turn the fan on and off at the switch with no problems. That is the only way I can turn the fan on and off at this time.

Zigbee or Zwave?

Try a full restart of the hub. Shutdown via gui, pull power at wall wart, wait 30 seconds for the radios to reset, plug back in and wait for boot up.

Just shutting down or restarting doesn’t reset the radios.

Next thing to try is to restart with rebuild of database. That’s in the Advanced options of reboot command.

Why have you chosen the Device Type to be "Generic Z-Wave Plus Scene Switch"?

What type of device is this?

Is it an actual Z-Wave fan controller? Is it a Z-Wave wall switch, or does it have dimming capabilities? Is it Z-Wave Plus?

I suggest changing to a driver that is more compatible with your device.

Sorry what is this? via gui,

GUI = graphical user interface (i.e. hub's web page interface). Bottomline, use the Shutdown option from the hub's web page interface before removing power -- do not not just pull the physical power cord out.

Physically removing the hub's power without first properly/fully shutting the hub down leads to database corruption (among other headaches you don't want).

Just a plain On & Off switch Z - wave. It’s about 4 years old because that’s how long we have been in this house.

Well that might be the problem. I powered down the hub and restarted it.

It seams all my switches are all the same.

I performed this too, no change yet. Thanks for you help. Do you think the switch just went bad? I never had a z-wave switch go bad.

Z-Wave

I changed the type. I will give that a try.

After changing the type of switch - no change.

In the log

Do all the entries in your log correspond to your attempts to control the fan from the device page in Hubitat? Do any of the log entries relate to you physically operating the switch?

What is the switches "Last Activity At Time" shown on the device's info tab.

If the "Last Activity" time is not recent, then please provide a screenshot of the Z-Wave details page.

I did this at 9:17 am Gave a command for the fan to turn on using my computer - status did not change. It is also shown in the log,
