I had some receptacles that were damaged following a power outage. As a result, I had to force remove them which resulted in some ghost nodes. I successfully eliminated these with a Z-Stick, but I'm still having a few odd issues.
I understand that performing "routine" Z-Wave repairs is not preferable, given all but one of my devices is Z-Wave Plus. Several nodes fail, one of which is a battery powered deadbolt. Generally, I've never seen battery devices appear in the repair process. I've got many, but it's only one that the system is trying to fix. Also, most of the others work as expected and can be repaired if I do so one by one. The global repair process however, still sees them as failing.
Over the past month (this has been ongoing for a little while), I've also had two occurrences where my Z-Wave shut down entirely. In all the years I've been using (various) HE devices, this had never previously happened.
I'm wondering if there is possibly a problem with a database? I tried rebooting my C8 (v2.4.1.157) but this doesn't bring Z-Wave back online. I must power it off. When I did a restart, I did opt to rebuild the database, but this had no effect on the Z-Wave repair.
Any idea are appreciated.
