Situation is z-wave poller not seeing non z-wave plus switches. Nothing is populating there drop downs. Any clues why?
I believe this depends on the driver implementing the required capabilities, which some intentionally don't in order to discourage overuse of this feature (though it should be the opposite [EDIT: nevermind, that's what you did say] with Plus devices not showing up since they normally don't need it). I'd start by verifying that you're using the recommended driver by comparing yours to this list: List of Compatible Devices - Hubitat Documentation
EDIT: if you have Plus devices that appear to need it, I'd still verify the driver you're using against the one Hubitat recommends for your particular model, whcih the page above has a list of for all devices known to work with a specific driver. If you're using a commnity driver, you may need to work with the author. If a built-in driver isn't working as you expect in this regard (no events for physical manipulation and it's not one known to be problematic here, like many "classic" devices), I'd enable debug logging and see if you see anything come into "Logs" then, and maybe the driver just isn't parsing things into an event but could if staff knew what.

Trying to help someone out. They know they have some non z-wave plus devices but they're not showing up in the available switches.
