Z-Wave Plus Or Non Plus Contact Sensor Driver?

Does it make a difference?

I've got 8 Ecolink contact sensors, all Z-Wave Plus.
Some are using the generic driver, some are using the generic plus driver.

The last one paired with the non plus driver.

At this point in time, does it matter?

Thanks.

@bcopeland ?

Well, in the vein of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", and "leave well enough alone", I forged ahead(?) and made some changes.

I have 5 Ecolink contact sensors and 3 Ecolink tilt sensors, all Z-wave plus.

I took a different sensor and excluded and re-included it. It was discovered as Generic Z-Wave Contact Sensor.

I took this as a sign that this is the latest and greatest and most appropriate driver.

Previously, I tried the plus driver on a sensor (in a gate control box) that had earlier had been driven by the non-plus driver. It started doing the double and non reporting thing I've read about in the past. I took this as another sign.

Also, it should be noted that the plus driver does not have a "Configure" button on the device page. That didn't seem good to me: even if I did have the inclination to break open the box again to sync the config, there was no Config button to hit. I took this as another sign.

Anyways, I changed all 8 to Generic Z-Wave Contact Sensor by excluding and including. They seem to work.

The manual, as always, was handy:
