Z-Wave issues, all of the sudden

Hello all,

New to Hubitat, migrating from Wink as you might have expected lol. The system is awesome, lots of flexibility, but the learning curve is insane and I am not an idiot, worked in IT creating BGP routing tables in the early days of the Internet, so I feel like I am technologically inclined.

With all this said, I setup my home over the last few days with the Hubitat hub, I live in a relatively small house, have about 30 devices, some controlled by the Luthron bride, but many others are standard Z-Wave or Z-Wave Plus devices. At first all Z-Wave devices were added, created scenes, and all kinds of other stuff and worked great. Then within a few hours of finishing everything and all working well they stopped working, either nothing happens when you try to turn a switch on or off or no update on the dashboard at all. I have tried to do a Z-Wave repair many times, to no avail.

Most of the switches and dimmers in question are leviton.

Any thoughts or advice?

Thanks!

I updated to a C-7 hub and transfer my z wave devices over and had issues, but then I read somewhere in the forum that you should give it a day or maybe to settle down. I did follow that advice and now things are going well and working as they should.

Interesting. The thing is... Everything was working very well for 2-3 hours, then stopped. No mater what I try, nothing works anymore. I am even considering getting rid of Z-Wave all together, over 12 devices at minimum $50 a pop, but I am sick of this, so frustrating!

I feel your pain as I when through that same thing. I was mad and upset and didn't understand why it didn't work and was ready to throw in the towel but like I say I walk away for a day or so and restarted my hub got rid of any ghosts issue if they where presence and everything is working..

What hub software version are you currently running?

Using version 2.2.5.126

Any Zooz 4-in-1's in your system? Those haven't been playing well with the C7. change them to the generic zwave motion sensor and things will clear up.
