I have a Zwave switch Zooz Zen30. I am having an issue with this switch. I have looked at the Zwave info provided under setting. It is having high latency talking to the Hubitat hub. I have screenshots of the Zwave graph .
I did do a zwave repair and I saw an issue with Node13. Now I am not positive which device is Node13. I did have a HSM200 zwave device that I force removed because it was not longer functioning.
@user5536 You really don't need to do a full repair (and it's not recommended). Repair individual nodes. Has the switch always been like this? If so I would recommend putting a repeater near there. If it's something that just started, it certainly couldn't hurt to exclude then re include. (create a virtual switch and use Device swap. Then exclude the switch. Factory reset the switch and then re include it) If that doesn't work, it could be a failing device.
Need to know what hardware revision you have (or give me firmware version).
The original V1 hardware has a bad antenna placement due to the crammed housing (confirmed by Zooz). I have yet to disassemble one of mine to see if I can fix it. The V3 is for sure a lot better, not sure on the V2 since I do not have one.
Ok so firmware 3.10 is v3 hardware. The antenna should not be the issue, wanted to rule that out.
How long was the hub running when you took those screenshots? The number of route changes on devices can be a sign of issues but depends on how many/hour.
What Hub? C7 or C8?
In my experience, neither of those do anything useful besides waste time.
How far is it from the hub and what other devices are between it and the hub?
It is picking a direct route, so possibly that is causing the latency, but possibly also the best option since you do not have a lot of devices.
The how is that the nodes are shown in both hex and decimal in the details. The repair pop up is giving you hex values so node 13 is actually 0x13 (hex), and you can find it on your zwave details page.
Thank you for the great info. Last night I excluded the switch. Conducted a factory reset then included it again. So far this seemed to fix the issue. It is now 1ms.
I am new to hubitat, so I have the C8 model. I am going to continue to monitor the switch and see if more issues arise.
Odd, usually that does not change anything, must have had some bad data in there or its storage was corrupted or something like that. Reset wiped it clean and got the bugs out.
