Hello All,

I am new here and also a migrant from the land of SmartThings.

I have an odd problem though. I think the Z-Wave radio in my SmartThings is dead, and thus can not do the proper exclusion process.

Is there a way like SmartThings had to send a broadcast exclusion to the entire network? I know I have to do something like hit the button on the switches and such. This is going to take me a long time I know because I have 25+ lonely devices that SmartThings has not talked to in at least a year.

Absolutely.. Pressing the exclude button will exclude devices that were included on other hubs.

So it seems exclusion is only removing data from the device, and has nothing to do with the hub except the hub sends out a "generic" exclude. Is this correct?

Yes.. Exclusion from any controller will exclude any device from any mesh..
