For quite some time my Z-WAVE devices are non-responsive and are not listed anymore (they show up in devices but not in Z-WAVE details). I am using the C7 (2.3.3.130).
Opening Z-WAVE details does not show anything (no devices, no online status, no logs, no topology). It also takes quite some time to open up the details page (unlike the Zigbee page).
I think I tried about everything in various order:
reset z-wave radio --> "failed to reset z-wave network"
z-wave exclusion --> not responsive
z-wave repair --> not responsive
firmwave update --> not responsive
disable z-wave status and re-anable--> no solution
shutdown C7 and disconnect from power (10+ min) --> no solution
soft reset and trying to add z-wave device--> no solution / not adding the device
restore older version --> no solution
restore previous backup --> no solution
Most previous topics had the shutdown/power off as a solution but for me that did not solve it.
The only thing not done yet is a factory reset but would like to avoid that if possible.
Any ideas are welcome.
Did you guys figure out what caused this? I've seen this before as well and I'm not sure what I did (if anything) that fixed it. What's weird is that despite the list being empty - like I don't have any z-wave devices - for the most part, the z-wave devices I have are still functioning (though I've been dealing with the whole ghost device thing for a week now with the ghost device deletion guide only having limited success...)
We believe we have a solution for missing Z-Wave Device details table that will be released in the next update. This applies to devices missing, but working. @joeysliamg's case was different, as devices were not working. A replacement was required to solve the problem.
Do a full shut down, pull power for 10 seconds. Boot back up. See if it comes back in the zwave details. Thats the usual solution when the entire table goes blank but devices still work.
This morning I removed the s0 security from a Fibaro dimmer using a usb stick and the pc controller. I could not get the include to work. Finally, I shutdown and restarted the hub and the dimmer appeared with a discover button. Pressing discover fixed the device which now has no security. As this was after time stamp on the storm shown above I would think that would have caused the 7B device to appear in the z-wave details. I have implemented several other home automation systems before this but am relatively new to z-wave. It is certainly a wild ride.
