Yale ZWave lock (YRD226) changes lock/unlocked status after Notification

Just started migrating from ST to HE (C7) and having a really strange issue;

Yale YRD226 Z-wave lock paired to HE (excluded then included).
Created Dashboard (lock) tile. Also added thru to HomeBridge.

Everything works perfectly and reliably up to this point. Locking and Unlocking from the Dashboard Tile, or from Apple Home all work and report status correctly as to whether lock is locked or unlocked.

I want to get a notification on my iPhone when the lock is locked or unlocked like I had in ST, so I added the built in Notifications app and setup a notifier called Lock Activity - selected both lock & unlocked options and set my iPhone to receive %text% at %time%.

Now when I lock from the Dashboard Tile or Apple Home, I receive the LOCKED notification (with proper details), but the lock status immediately changes to UNLOCKED status (just status, not the physical lock) so that they're completely out of sync.

If I delete the notification rule and reboot HE. The lock status works normally again?!?!

I'm completely stumped as to why this is happening. Ideas?
Thanks for the help!

hope you figured it out. these yale locks really stink and use 500 series zwave and require S0 security. they are super chatty and can't change parents if you refresh the net with a repair. the repeaters you have are sitting there, beaming the information to the slow, poor engineered yale modules and it will crap up your network.

almost all fo your problems with hubitat and z-wave will come from your yale lock. trust me, i have over 30 of them. they have claimed they will introduce a better module a long time ago. they are few and far between.

the only way your lock is going to work well is if it's close to the hubitat. really close. the c7 is pretty anemic. the c8 is much better with external antennas.

godspeed and good luck.
