I will appreciate any help / advice concerning a Yale Z Wave lock.

The information which I can provide is as follows :

I have a Hubitat Hub purchased for Europe. Works perfectly fine for various devices ( Z Wave as well as Zigbee ) purchased in Europe

The software version is updated to 2.2.8.154

Hardware version is Rev C-7

I just bought a Yale Lock in the USA and brought it here to France with me.

The model number of this lock is : YRL226-NR-605 ( I know that this not included in the list of “compatible devices” under the Yale locks ). However, it has a Z Wave PLUS module included.

I have been trying to include the lock’s Z Wave module in the Hubitat Hub but so far have failed as it is not detected by the Hub.

I would like to know :

  1. Is a European Hubitat Hub able to detect a US Z Wave plus device? I saw that the Yale locks stated in the list of compatible devices have Generic Z Wave.

  2. If not, I presume if I exchange only the Z Wave module which came with the lock with a specific European module then will it work?

  3. Or has someone developed a Z Wave driver code for this type of lock and which will possibly make this work?
