Yes, the Nest X is a WiFi cloud-based lock. My advice @writerobyn is save your money and get a YRD256. It integrates directly and can use the Lock Manager application.
You can often find an Amazon Warehouse deal for less. Sometimes much less. I paid just $179 for mine.
