Simple charge request. Please sort the devices listed at the top of the logs page. It will make it easier to find devices to filter the listing below...
I agree that a sorted list would be useful. I do understand the difficulty that could present however. Since not all devices are present in the logs at any one time, the list might need to get resorted and resorted over and over as you were looking at them. A manual sort button could work, but you still have the problem of new device log events. I would personally like to have the ability to send logs to a logging server, where it would be much easier to manipulate and store for longer periods.
Ideally new entries should dynamically be inserted into the correct, sorted location. Given the somewhat clunky UI here it's unlikely that's possible. So a link to "sort devices" would be nice.
I think the dynamic list could become a high resource issue. I do absolutely agree the log list could use some work. Like you and perhaps most users, I find it hard to find the log entry I am after and being able to see a sorted list would really help that.
Have you forgotten about the filter?
You can enter the name there and it will begin to filter only devices with that name. I would like to avoid logging being the cause of more hub slowness.
