Hello all.
New to Hubitat just got it this week. Been trying to make a nice dashboard using chrome but no mater what i click on the screen it will freeze and i will have to wait like 5 minutes for it to be sort of responsive or hit the refresh button on the browser just to go thru it all over again. If i hit the 3 dots it will freeze. If i hit the + it freezes, nothing happens actually just the page is unresponsive.
Using Chrome Version 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) on a windows PC.
I can work with the dashboard using my tablet , it doesn't freeze using chrome.
Any help would be appreciated. Tried searching but didn't get any results that were relevant.
I don't think it's hubitat. I'm experiencing the freezing often in many applications. It's so frustrating! I have this issue in windows 10. Try the new edge and see how that works for you. It's powered by chrome.

The simplest solutions are always the one's that are overlooked. I used edge and it worked. Let's see how it goes if it doesn't freeze after i start playing with it.

Not sure if this is your problem, but I use chrome and have no issues. One thing that can make a dashboard very slow is to accept the default and have the dashboard use all of your
devices.
On the apps page you can select your dashboard and have it only use the devices you select. Turn off the use all devices slider.
Started fine with edge. Now im back to square one. It's freezing in edge also.
I can install apps, i can do other things but as soon i try to edit the dashboard it just stop responding. The screen doesn't freeze because i just noticed the watch still runs on the dashboard on the screen but i cant do anything. I can modify the dashboard on my tablet without a problem.
yah, I'm gettinhg lock up issues as well in both now, but edge is powered by chrome now. I'm workign in node red and experiencing the same lock ups. And I'm experiencing lock ups in facebook.
