Won't connect

Hi, I'm new into hubitat, currently i got ST which sometimes is not really reliable. so i got my c7 in December 2021, I did manage to connect it, had a few sensors and plugs connected, but i unplugged it in order to move it somewhere in the middle of the house, it was never to connect again and i put it away. I got time now to fix it but it won’t connect to the router, I tried different routers, different cables but even so the router won’t see it connected. any ideas? thank you #support

When plugged-in, what colour is the LED in front of the Hubitat hub?

With the hub plugged in, press and hold the network reset button on the bottom of the hub for 7 seconds. There will one hole that is a different shape than the rest. The hub will restart automatically and then hopefully you'll be able to find it on the network.

Is not working unfortunately, doesn't show up on router connected devices.

Try a different Ethernet cable.

Try a different port on your network switch.

Try going to http://findmyhub.hubitat.com

also from a web browser go to http://hubitat.local

Did the LED flash blue and then reboot the hub after doing the network reset? If not, you did it wrong. Hold button for 7+ seconds, then let go, as soon as you let go the LED should briefly flash blue then turn off and hub will reboot.

Weird It goes red than turn off than blue, i can't see it flashing blue...

Does it go green after doing this?

Yes it dose, so I'm holding the reset button for 10 seconds + i release the button one second later it goes red and then blue for a minute or two and it gose back to green. thank you

Just checked my C-7 and it blinks green/blue a few times, then steady green, then it goes off for a second, then back to solid blue which means it is booting. Never saw red.

I wonder if that LED sequence changed with firmware, since this hub was offline since 2021 it probably has old firmware. I would assume it was done its thing and reset the network.

Do you get a link light on your router ethernet port when you plug it in? If you look in the devices list on the router can you see it there?

I did managed to see it into my Deco mesh router devices list but there's no data transfer that i can see between the router and the hub, and i tried to find it with mac address and ip address, no results. on the virgin media router the light comes up when i plug it in but i can't find into devices list.
