I have a c8 device that is set up and is connected to wired ethernet. Recently I noticed that the device is still broadcasting the "MyNewHubitat" SSID as an AP, which I can connect to without auth. Fortunately, I have the device require login to get access, but I want to know how to entirely disable wifi on the device. I don't see a way to do this in the interface. The documentation does mention that wifi is disabled when a wired network is connected, but that isn't how it behaves. I'm currently on version 2.4.0.146, but this situation has existed previous to this version as well.

FWIW, another user reported something similar last year:
Still the case. I have to connect it to WiFi and then disconnect it in order to disable the AP, every time I reboot the hub. I tried everything, reset to default etc..
Next build is going to have a fix.

I have updated my c7 and c8 hubs to 2.4.0.147, and so far the problem hasn't recurred. I may have seen a secured SSID that was the hubs UID, but it has since disappeared. I will check again if it IS the hubs next time I reboot.
