Yesterday the wife stated that when she sits down in the family room lights seems to go off and on randomly. I found this strange since nothing has changed other than firmware updates and a few battery replacements. She said it was doing this all day Tuesday.
So I started poking around this morning and I saw logs of the devices in the family room showing the activity and also button presses that were activating them. At first I thought darn a Samsung button is giving out false signals. I have two buttons in the family room for easy access and tested the close one and it was working fine.
Went to the second one and the button was gone. I use command strips to hold the buttons down to the tables. Low and behold my grandson must have pulled the button off the table and dropped it between the cushions in the couch.
No more ghosts, and now I know I can use the buttons as butt sensors if I need to!
