I follow the documentation to reset and start pairing with zwave inclusion but nothing happens. It is not connect to my ring hub if that matters.
Any help is appreciated.
SOLUTION:
I had V2 of the ring sensors and hubitat C-7. Pairing the Version 2 ring sensors is different from V1 that the hubitat documentation has.
I was following the hubitat documentation for V1 of the ring sensors. I was able to pair the motion sensor by holding down the front button until flashing and then entering the 5 digit code found on a little card inside my box.
What model of Hubitat hub do you have, and what Ring motion sensor do you have? (There is a sticker on the bottom if you're not sure, or Settings > Hub Details will also show it under "Hardware Revision.") If you have the second-generation Ring motion sensor, you'll need a C-7 hub. The first generation should work with any generation of Hubitat hub, though I've never tried.
Assuming the above is good, if you've only tried the regular "pairing"/inclusion instructions and haven't tried a reset, that can't hurt, either. Hubitat has that documented for v1 here: Join and Reset Instructions - Hubitat Documentation. I'm not sure about v2, but perhaps it's similar or available in the product's literature.

Hey where did you enter the 5 digit code?
I'm on my hub, went to devices - under ring - motion sensor v2 - start inclusion - pressed the button, replaced the battery but no luck.
I tried multiple ring v2 motion sensors but not able to pair the sensors to hubitat. really frustrating. They really need to update the docs if the procedures are different.
