Tried looking for an answer in the forums but couldn't find one to my specific subject? As I buy more Z-wave devices I'm starting to find that actually I don't know much about the protocol and how it is used in Hubitat. My Specific question is, why does the Z-Wave repair button show in the devices and once repaired then don't go away?
Z-wave protocol support repair of a single device by demand. You can always trigger a repair but if you do not have issues with this device you do not have to.
