Which template to use to add Inovelli Light Strip, LZW45, to a dashboard?

I just got my Inovelli light strip, LZW45 and included it in Hubitat. (I have a C7 running 2.2.7.126). As an aside it had a small hiccup getting included in that it was found right away, but after I finished the security popup (I turned off all security) it never came up as "found". I waited a bit even after the timer ran out and found it listed under devices. So I'm hoping no harm, no foul.

In any event, I want to add them to Kitchen dashboard as they are running under my kitchen cabinets. However, I'm not sure which template to pick to add it to my Kitchen Dashboard. I didn't see a light strip template so I'm wondering if I should use the template for a dimmer, a switch, a color bulb (as it can change colors) or what?

Thanks,

Color Bulb is probably your best bet. Switch, Dimmer, or any other template whose expected attributes and commands matches what the device has (that's really the point of a template, regardless of what it's called) would also work, but Color Bulb should give you the most possible functionality.

Color Bulb didn't work. I went with the dimmer. That lets me turn it on and off and set the dim level.

There's no reason it shouldn't work if the relevant commands on the device page do (Set Color, Set Color Temperature, etc.)--which now that I think about it, I think I remember some posts about that problem. Those would exist outside of Dashboard, too. If the dimmer template exposes everything you need, that works too! Otherwise, just a note that there are likely other problems.

I mostly just want a way to control it being on and off.
