Where to buy devices such as XBee

I'm looking to use a few XBee modules to extend the ZigBee mesh in my home and analyze network connectivity. Some posts I saw from early 2018 seem to indicate that it costs around $7-8/ea (I can't post links yet, but I've seen £11 for 2 and ~$30 for 4), but what I can find now are all around $30 for XB3-24Z8PT and $20+ for XBee S2C. Maybe I'm not in the circle long enough, but where do you guys typically buy these kinds of devices from?

I'd suggest digikey:

They probably have an Xbee page as well.

If you're locted in th US, I'd suggest Arrow. I've bought from them multiple times and they are FAST.

Thanks for both replies. It looks like that XBee is indeed a lot more expensive now. Both places are $20--30 depending on the model. This makes it quite costly to get a few of these devices to extend ZigBee mesh.

I checked Arrow, GearBest, BangGood, AliExpress, FastTech, DigiKey, Mouser, SparkFun, AdaFruit, DX, Mountain Electronics..

I find their properties to extend your zigbee mesh dubious at best. Buy a peanut plug. They're only $10.

May I ask what makes you say so? Is it real life performance observation or some intrinsic limitations of XBee? I have four of Peanut plugs, but they don't play well with Xiaomi Aqara sensors. And I live too far from an IKEA to get their Tradfri plugs..

Because I have been upable to keep an Xbee paired to the hub through a power cycle. And i'm not the only one that has had this problem
