When downloading a database (as backup) it would be nice if a means of associating text could be devised

I was thinking of when downloading there would be an option to enter some text related to the state of the download etc.
It could be as simple as a .txt file with the same name as the downloaded database.

Now that I type this it seems really trivial, however when I'm saving a db because I have a change in mind I'm focused on that change and never actually go back and create an explanation of the downloaded db.

That’s a great idea. Like creating your own change log entry for that backup. So in the future, if you have to restore from multiple versions back, you know what you may have to re-add or revise.
