What's the holdup?

Hello brain trust!

I recently upgraded my home hub to the C8-pro, working great!
Took the C7 that I took out to gramma's house to set up lived-in look automation while she was in assisted living - she passed away so I'm changing routines while the house goes on market.

Problem is, when I log into my hub at home, within the LAN, either on the new C8 or when I had the C7 there, everything was fast to access and operate from portal or android app.
At gramma's, working within the LAN (Comcast - direct connection to gateway), everything takes 15-20 seconds or more to populate the screen. This makes things painful to manage!

Home LAN environment is standard 192.168.x.x, at gramma's it's 10.x.x.x. Could the LAN be causing this?

Sometimes this unexpected slowness could be the result of failed auto-negotiation between the hub and your switch. Going to Network Settings and setting it to "Fixed 100 Mbps" (or whatever you have) -- or back to default of "Auto" in the event you've done this before and now it's a problem -- may help.

You could also just try a network reset, documented at the link above too, to see if that alone helps.

I have Hubitat's on 192.168.x.x and 10.0.x.x LAN networks and they work perfectly fine. So not that. You could also set up Hubitat with a reservation DHCP address in your router. My bet is its the auto setting Bertabcd1234 mentions....
