Manually turn off all the lights, light a candle in the bedroom, and make love with my wife.
Sometimes having our tech take a pause is a good thing.

I agree, for me I own my cable modem and router. Then I can do whatever I want.
In addition, I don't like to rent them from the cable company.

Solution: Get a straight up modem and separate router. That way if the cable company goes out it doesn't affect you. This should also save you the monthly cost of renting their equipment. Pays for itself in a year.

The Zen34 is also nice, as you can literally put it anywhere. I stuck it to my door as a backup switch for my doggy door. If internet/Alexa is down, my family can still close the door.

Me too just now. Have a spot on a pocket door wall where a normal switch is of course not possible.

But the shipping means it ends up the same or more than Amazon's $28...

I have the one spot where a traditional paddle switch will be best.
Normally I'd stick a Pico on the wall but this is for a spot where it will be used by feel mostly, for quick on\off, so a simple toggle switch will be best for my wife, who will use it the most.
I do buy Picos by the thousand.

Picos are definitely excellent - especially with a good dipping sauce. But I agree - tactile feel is not the best which is why my caseta setup, such that it is, is relegated to the basement.

Cancelled mine as realized the one i have is actually a dimmer and this.one is.not.
Just because the poster marked the problem "solved" doesn't mean we all walk away from the water cooler and stop chatting.
Dashboard almost automatically creates a mode selector. Elena is my cleaning angel and Elena mode is all lights in the house on at 100%. Please remember not to try and turn the lights off.
