What to use for Harbor Breeze fan control

Oh boy, I think I'm an idiot.

If I can pick your brain a second since you have this set up successfully...

So basically here is my setup. Four bedrooms. Dining room. Living room x 2. All with matching ceiling fans. Three bulbs per fan. For several years I've been using Sengled smart bulbs paired with SmartThings. I would have preferred to use dumb bulbs with a smart switch but of course, the smart switch would shut off the dumb fan too...

So now I have been trying to transition over to Hubitat since I first learned about it earlier this month. I have been intrigued by this Bond/ceiling fan setup but while I've been thinking about it I've been trying to get everything setup on my new Hubitat and ran into this issue I posted about: New to Hubitat, can't even get all my lights to work right

What was my solution? I went out and bought a whole set of Hue lights for the entire house. As you can imagine that was pretty expensive! I got them all set up last night through the Hue app and they work pretty well. I hadn't integrated into Hubitat yet.

But this morning in the shower I said out loud to nobody in particular (since my wife was still sleeping) "I'm an idiot". This Bond/ceiling fan integration would solve my light problem, right? My assumption is that in essence, somewhere between the RF control and the Bond hub and Hubitat, each ceiling fan will show up in Hubitat as a fan and a light switch? So I wouldn't need fancy expensive Hue lights everywhere, I could just use dumb lights. Am I on to something here?
