What’s going on with iBlinds

About a month ago, I ordered an iBlinds 3.1 based on the posts I’ve read on here. I immediately loved it. Fast forward a month, I went on Amazon to order (5) more motor kits with solar, and noticed they were no longer available on Amazon. So I ordered (5) motors and (5) solar kits direct from their website. I opened up all (10) boxes today and realized that (3) of them were missing parts. In total, I was missing (1) double-sided tape (NBD), (1) black charge adapter clip/trim, and (1) pair of solar panel clips. So I submitted a customer service request, and then went back on Amazon because I seem to remember they sold loose solar clips. That’s when I realized there doesn’t appear to be an iBlinds storefront anymore.

Has anyone else experienced missing parts?

And why are they not on Amazon anymore?

Nope - quite surprised. I have five blinds, have received updated versions so have received 8 in total, and all were complete, nothing missing. All were ordered on iBlinds site.

No idea...more than likely they don't want to pay an "Amazon tax" for selling their products there. They likely keep more of the sales price selling direct.

They have been very responsive in the past when I've asked them questions/sought help. I hope you hear from them soon.

Yes. odd.
I ordered mine from Canadian iBlinds distributor and all was as expected.
I had a battery problem with one and they sent me a new battery no issue.

I would put in a customer service message with them. They're quite responsive

New parts are on the way… with a couple of freebies thrown in.

That sounds like my iBlinds...love 'em. Glad they made you whole (+ a little more).

I do wish the back of the solar panel was white. Maybe I’ll 3D print a white backplate/housing with integrated clips… add that to the growing list.

Or just get a sheet of white vinyl and an exacto knife

Or a can of spray paint?

I can't see mine as the header and blind unit block the solar panel.
When I got a few SwitchBots to try out instead of iBlinds ($$) retrofitting the motor etc. I spray painted the motor unit the same colour as the blinds.
WAF approved.
Dogged an eye bullet.
