What is your Favorite Filament for 3D Printing and Why? (Moved)

Moved to "Let's Talk 3D Printers"

So far, my favourite has to be polycarbonate. It's strong which allows me to make functional devices that I'm not concerned will break. Print quality has been great. I'm using (primarily) Polymaker Flame Retardant PC for cases and brackets of line voltage devices/modules. My printer is a QIDI X-Plus 3 that is capable of the higher temperatures necessary for this.

PLA has been okay and is easy to use, but I would use this primarily for rapid printing of prototypes and decorative pieces only.

I have been looking at printers that support carbon infused filament. Many of the YouTube video's show much smoother prints that are very durable. I am thinking about starting my 3D printing journey after February when I complete my research in the best printer for my needs. My first prints will be from the "Underwear" cable routing project to clean up all the cable runs under my desks and other locations around the home.

Thanks guys! I moved the question (title above) to "Let's Talk 3D Printers".
