My hue outdoor motion has a motion retrigger delay setting default of 10s. I was reading that increasing the motion retrigger can reduce false alarms, but I don't understand how this would work to do that.
It's more accurately termed "Motion retrigger inhibit delay" - the amount of time there has to be no motion before another motion event can occur.
