Oops realized after the fact what she was meaning. Thanks
awh shoot .. I missed it ....
I was referring exactly to that. Sorry if I sounded harsh.
Well ... my HE had no trouble finding my repeaters. I'm excited to see how quirky my house gets for a wile. It's like the old days. .... wait for it ... ON. yah! haha.
[EDIT]
I just love watching it figure things out. Slowly as devices find their routes again. Putting together the pieces of the puzzle. So intriguing to me.
Hrm your posts here got me thinking my wifi & zigbee might be in the same ranges. Channel 11 & 21. Of course I have a lot of neighboring wifi access points in my area. May be worth checking when I get home.
You should almost never use anything other than 15, 20, 25 if you have any reasonable amount of wifi interference.
@april.brandt I’m on Lucky 13. Always have been since day one with my original HE hub. But, I agree that 15, or 20 are good choices, and apparently the Konke sensors must use those along with 25. I’m going to disagree with 25 as a choice though, since some devices don’t work properly above channel 20.
I've heard that before as well. I have 2 visible networks that aren't my own. We aren't heavily populated, but I might want to do something with the "hub club" and maybe delegate some devices over to my smartthings hub. So, I just wanted to get ready for that. I'm getting used to not changing too much at one time, so it'll be ready if I decide that alexa speaks needs a neighbor.
That's very strong advice. I appreciate that.

Do I get a "can" from you? ![]()
(sorry, couldn't help it. I've been without adult interaction for too many hours today holed up in my office at work with my boss talking to himself in his office. Makes me crazy. All in good fun!)
I was thinking that I was going to keep that app around and use it at work. We have a courtroom that's been a pain in the wifi and maybe we can figure out what we're fighting up against. Thanks to @codahq for that tutorial. I learn so much here!
You absolutely CAN use other channels.
For instance, if you aren't in a wifi dense area, you may choose to do 12 or 13 if no one is using low Wifi channels. No one right answer I suppose.
That is true. It is pretty rare, but true nonetheless, I know every device in my house works on 25, as until I put in 2 different zigbee networks everything I had was on 25. When I redid it, I went to 15 and 20, though to be 'safe'.
All wifi channels are saturated in my house, so the in-between channels work best for me.
