WeLink/CMARS outlet issues with C8

I have a wierd issue with adding new zigbee WeLink/CMARS outlet. When it gets added It's added as “Device”. I change the driver to generic zigbee outlet and it will turn the device on and off. However, a mess happens after that. The outlet turns it self off automatically in 2-20 seconds once it’s turned on. If i physically hit the button or or do it via Hubitat it will turn itself off. I thought it was the driver so I found a customer driver and the same issue happen. It will not stay on, and Hubitat thinks it’s on when it’s off.

I have a C7 connected via mesh with a different channel for zigbee. When I add it to the C7 it works fine.

My thought is that something with the C8 radio is causing it to not work right. Is a network ping forcing it to turn off?

BTW it’s in the same location…the two hubs are right next to each other and the switch is about 5 feet away from the hubs.

Edit…I have roughly 6-8 of these already on the C8 and they work great. They were migrated from the C7 and not newly added to the C8.

Did you try adding it back to the C8 again? Possibly a setting got changed somehow, so having the device entry on the C8 with the correct driver already selected might allow it to pair without a problem now.

Yes multiple times. Also, I tried this with various CMARS outlets…all the same thing.

If you think the network ping might be doing it, did you turn that setting off?
Its on the Zigbee details page.

No I was using that as an example. That only happens every 3 hours.

CMARS plug model US-101 has problems with Zigbee coordinators based on EFR32MG21 chipset - Hubitat C-8, Sonoff ZBDongle-E and Home Assistant SkyConnect dongle.
