Weird Lutron Caseta Dimmer issue

I have one Caseta dimmer that Will consistantly turn on, but rarely turns off. It works from the faceplate fine, but when controlling via either HE or HK or even the Lutron Caseta app, it will (almost) never turn off. Pulling the Air Gap sometimes makes it work once, but not always. I'm assuming it is defective and have ordered a replacement, but just wondered iof anyone else has seen this issue?

I would recommend reaching out to their support. They provide excellent customer service and may send you a free replacement.

+1 for contacting Lutron support. They sometimes go even beyond the requirements of a product warranty.

Do you have a Lutron device that acts as a repeater in your home? Is it possible that this one Dimmer Switch is near the edge of range of your Lutron SmartBridge Pro? If so, adding a Caseta repeater may help to solidify your Clear Connect RF network.

I have one of the Lutron Caseta Plug-in Dimmer modules that has helped to create a very solid Lutron network.

Thanks for the suggestions. This particular switch has been working fine with no repeater. It is well within distance. It has apparently just failed. I will contact Lutron support after I have replaced it. If they do replace it, I now have a spare.

And I just tested it again and it is working as it should. So I guess I'll still have a spare!
