I have a C8. Prior to this I had a C7 for > 2 years. I've programmed many different rules.
It seems I have a ghost in the machine happening. I have three lights that come on in the evening at different times for no reason. All rules have been removed or paused. Integrations with Amazon, etc have these lights removed. Passwords changed. All motion detectors have been removed. I'm at a lost why this is happening. Wife getting pissed.
This morning, the log reported the closet light is on at 4:51AM and off at 6:05AM. The time on is variable. No one is getting up. Hub is up to date 2.3.9.143

Nothing on 6/3?
This is just one example. My only thought is to reset it, and start from new. Anyone else have anything like this going on?
Just to clarify, a while back Hubitat added a collapsing menu. On the left column, are you sure that it isn't just hidden under the > symbol?
Sorry it wasn't clear, but on Hubitat or Alexa or otherwise?
That would be super extreme, and I doubt necessary.
Have you done a full shutdown, pulled the plug and started up again?
Have you tried a Soft Reset, which is a pretty safe procedure, and may put things back to where it was a couple days ago. If you need details how, please let us know.
At the very least, take a local backup, and download it so you don't lose any of your rules, and if there are backups from before things stopped working, you may want to download those as well so you could use those to try a restore point.
The scourge of home automation. Why this was ever a thing is beyond me. But yes, that crap can do a bunch of random stuff. Good thing to check.
Usually it is Alexa saying "you know that I can do blah-de-blah-de-blah, would you like me to do that" and if someone in the household says yes by mistake (or Alexa hears something resembling yes) then you are plagued with this mystery lights on and off stuff.
Hi thanks for the recommendation. I've removed the offending lights from alexa integration in Hubitat + I did check Hunches and I do not have anything setup.
I have 10 routines but nothing related to the lights that are coming on. All of the routines I have seem to work fine. I did do a soft reset/restore. Hope this works.
The soft reset and restore didn’t solve the problem. I ended up deleting a light group which included every light I have connected to the c8- about 18. Only one rule was attached to this group- wireless button to turn lights on and off. The 3 lights were in the group. So after deleting, I’ve had 2 nights and no lights mysteriously turning on🤞. Nothing logged except physical actions of turning lights on and off.
