Water Valve Device Concern

I am using a EcoNet EVC200 "Bulldog Valve Robot" water valve controller, with Generic Z-wave Valve device handler.

Even though it is still working fine with my water leak sensors (got triggered a few times - and it shuts off as expected), the event listing has stopped updating for a few months (works fine initially a few months ago). So there is no more new entries in the device events (no valve closing with water leak sensor or manual on/off) and "Last Activity At" time stamp has not changed for a few months.
The Current States also does not correspond to the state of the valve, even after clicking "refresh", and the status is "inactive". And is "Open" the same as "On", and "Close" the same as "Off"?

Couple of other questions:

  • I am using Samsung Smartthings leak sensor - some are reporting temperature (from device events) every 2 hours, some only 2 to 3 times a day - does it mean the signal is inadequate for those reporting less frequently?
  • for the Rule Machine - do I need to reenter the rule to make use of the new updated Rule Machine?

Using 1.1.4.426

No, you don't need to do anything with Rule Machine.

Hi Yesup, I have the same device and can see it as a device using the same generic device handler. But, like your post, it never updates status if I close the device? How did you solve this? And I couldn't open the valve using the dashboard. I had to do it manually.

Also, I am using the Econet Leak Sensors. But not sure which generic device driver to use. Which brand are you using? You say that they work but status isn't updating.

Thanks in advance.
