Is there way to add this device to HE.
If you haven't already bought it, there are zigbee version of Tuya water sensor.

Received the Tuya Zigbee Leak Sensor which looks very similar. The wired sensor look the same, the controller looks different which has pin hole at top rather than a button, use same 2xAAA batteries.
Paired using generic zigbee moisture driver and working fine.
