I know that developers are constantly working to make the system reliable and as complete as possible.
I would have liked you to add a voting system to the community. A bit like the support of ActionTiles.
I often see developers putting in a lot of time for things that I find unnecessary and which I believe is not really a priority right now. This could have given voice to the silent majority.
In my opinion this way, it would be easier for you to choose the problems that affect the most users.
Hubitat does use a voting system from time to time. Personally I think they are doing a fantastic job of advancing this platform. Every once in a while they deploy an integration or feature that doesn't affect me, but I still appreciate them, because they help other users.
I don't necessarily think this is a bad idea, but I do think we need to keep in mind that not everything is for us, the existing users--some of the things they have in mind will help with attracting new users, which is ultimately good for both them and us (a bigger community equals more users with more neat ideas for how to use existing features and more people who might work on community-supported apps and drivers to do even more). And of course, like you said, even other current users may have different needs.
I still have a personal wishlist, but I try to think about the above instead.
