I wanted to try the revised VRB and want it to turn on a light 25 minutes before sunset. I edited the trigger and set it to that, but after I clicked the Save button it says at undefined minutes before sunset.
I then wanted them to turn off 25 minutes before sunrise. I thought the Wait was a possibility, but there is nothing like wait until X minutes before/after sunrise.
I also thought maybe if I chose Turn Off it would give me an ability to say when it should turn off, but that wasn't there either.
Since I can have +/- minutes before/after sunrise/sunset for a trigger, why isn't there the option to use that to turn them off like that?
I'm guessing the answer is to build a 2nd rule that If they are on at 25 minutes before sunrise to turn them off but...
- I'm not even sure if there is an "if". If not, just saying turn them off is certainly not an elegant solution.
- Having to do a 2nd rule is also not an elegant solution, to say the least, since it would make so much more sense to just be able to add that here - especially as there is the Wait option. It seems it could just be built into the Wait option, and have the Sunrise/Sunset +/- be an option vs. a fixed amount of time.
