I created a virtual switch that is on my dashboard. The purpose of the switch is to turn off all my lights with one switch. Which it does. The only problem is the switch shows that it is on after I "press" it. Is there a way to have it not light up when pressed. I tried a virtual button but that didn't turn off the lights. Thanks.
Try the Auto Off feature of the virtual switch:
A virtual button should work, but you will need to change/create automation to turn off the lights in response to the button push (a button is different than a switch).
If you are using the HE Dashboards, the button tile (for use with virtual button) doesn't light up when pushed.
Thanks! The enable auto-off worked great. I can see that the switch was actuated, but then it goes off 2 seconds later.
