I am having an issue with a virtual switch. It uses WATO to determine if the virtual switch is on or off. The problem I have is that it never goes back to off. Once on is triggered it stays on.

I was able to make the rule with just opening and closing the valve. The weather rain virtual switch was needed for WATO. The problem now is that I can’t get it to open the valve when it meets the conditions.
It has been 24 hours and the rule is checking the precipitation every 5 minutes or so but it is not triggering the valve to open even though the rainfall is at zero.
Your trigger requires a change to precip_today -- if there's been no rain, that value presumably hasn't changed from "0" in the last 24 hours.
