Virtual Leak Sensor?

I have my Elk integrated with HE. I have 2 wired leak sensors on it, and they are working when I use the Virtual Motion or Virtual Contact sensor driver. But, HE doesn't see these as leak sensors which is kind of annoying if I was to use HSM and also they show up different than leak sensors on the dashboard.

Is there a workaround to this? Do I need a virtual motion sensor driver?

Have you taken a look at the virtual omni sensor? Tie your sensors status to that in RM, then it can be displayed on the dashboard with the water template.

Looks like I can't use this directly by changing the driver to it. It looks like I would have to create a virtual device and use a rule to change the state. Is this a correct assumption. It did not change the status between wet and dry when I set this for the driver and tripped it.

That is correct, you'll need to change the states of the virtual sensor through a rule. Very easy in RM4 with custom actions.
