Virtual Device with Virtual Children?

I'm going to be building a RM rule with a couple of virtual switches to be used for triggering, conditional statements, etc. I'm thinking it will keep my device list a little cleaner if I can create a virtual parent device, and then create the switches as children. Basically a virtual version of the generic multi-endpoint switch with a user-configurable number of child devices. Does this exist?

So far it looks like my closest option is a few boolean variables with RM connectors. The problem it that is then my variable list gets cluttered up like my device list would've been...
