I've tried multiple different ways to have a virtual switch turn on automatically when HSM is active and then off when its off. I'd also like to be able to turn the virtual switch off/on and it arm or disarm the alarm. Any ideas the best way to go about this? Thanks

My recommendation would be 2 rules.

The first one would be triggered by HSM becoming active. There would be 3 action:

  1. Turn on virtual switch
  2. Wait for HSM becoming inactive
  3. Turn off virtual switch

The second one would be triggered by the switch turning on. There would also be 3 actions:

  1. Activate HSM (Home?)
  2. Wait for the button to be off
  3. Deactivate HSM

Does this give you enough to try it out?
